Our program aims for sustainable tourism while promoting the region’s natural and cultural heritage, and stimulating interest in local products.
We support activities to preserve the natural and cultural heritage of our region and encourage consumption of local produce by local people and visitors. Our foods incorporate the region’s chief products, which exemplify the story of “A Heritage of Salmon”, and “Nemuro Strait: A Journey of Ten Thousand Years.”
We are supported by the Hokkaido Tourism Organization, a public corporation.
